Well, it is a LOT of fun to have a sandbox to play in with some very fun people! Especially those who bring shovels! I appreciate everyone here.... and I’m so grateful for the kindnesses and creativity from the FReeQs who can be found here.

Well -- I'm too old to shovel -- but, I do have a pail...

And, as an archaeologist, I also have a trowel -- and mostly use the bucket as a seat...

...which reminds me of one of my favorite family photos...

On one of our many family summer archaeological field schools with TAS, (the Texas Archeological Society) our middle daughter, (then about 9 or 10) used her bucket as a seat -- but forgot to invert it.

So, her skinny little fanny got stuck in the bucket! And she had great fun trotting all around the dig with a pail on her tail! (And, Dad got the ever-embarassing photo...)
