Not all tank farms are oil/crude storage.
AAMOF, most tank farms are chemical storage, often volatile chemicals (big booms!), toxic chemicals (Bhopal).
I worked at one in Chicago with over 10 million gallons of storage. Tanks full of chemicals for industrial use. All grouped by properties (no oxygenators with volatiles, etc.)
Most of those in that shot were petroleum related IMO, particularly the ones with the lid/roof that falls with level. It turns out it is in China, so it was irrelevant to the guess ;-)
