The others on Trump’s list (with the exception of Sen. Lee) are current judges either on Appeals Courts or State Supreme Courts. They have judicial experience and a record.

I really don’t have a good read if Gowdy is a White Hat, Black Hat, or worse - a Gray Hat like Kennedy.

Let’s keep with the current list that has been vetted by the Federalist Society, imo.
