I liked Rogue One and parts of TFA but otherwise, yeah. Even RotJ was pretty lame other than some of the Luke/Vader/Emperor scenes. The Ewoks made it an embarrassment. It was clear that Lucas care about trying to sell a toy more than making a credible movie.

The original plan for Return Of The Jedi was that the planet would be the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk. And it would be a massive army of Wookiees fighting the Empire on the ground. For some reason Lucas early on found that his plan wasn’t feasible (?!?) so he sliced the Wookiees down and made them Ewoks.
