Jeremy John Webster has been arrested for investigation of first-degree murder, first-degree murder extreme indifference and three counts of first-degree assault
A 23-year-old man faces allegations of first-degree murder in a road rage incident in which he allegedly shot four people. Those shots killed a boy, critically injured his mother and brother, and wounded a bystander in a Westminster shopping center parking lot.
Jeremy Webster of Colorado Springs was officially booked into the Adams County Jail at 1:39 a.m., more than 10 hours after the shooting, said Cheri Spottke, Westminster police spokeswoman.
Westminster detectives interviewed the man for several hours after he was arrested without incident on Interstate 25 in Castle Rock. Through those interviews police determined he did not have a relationship with any of the people who were shot.
According to a search warrant for Websters car that was obtained by Denver7, one of the womans three sons told police his mother and Webster had some sort of altercation near the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and Turnpike Drive.
The warrant says Webster then followed the 41-year-old woman and her children to the office complex at 5150 80th WESTMINSTER, Colo. A 23-year-old man is being held at the Adams County jail for a shooting in Westminster Thursday afternoon that left a boy dead and injured three other people. Police say the shooting appears to have been a road rage incident.
Jeremy John Webster, 23, was booked into the jail at 1:39 a.m., according to jail records. That was more than 10 hours after the shooting happened at an office park near 80th Ave. and Sheridan Blvd. in Westminster.
In addition to the jail records and confirmation from the Westminster Police Department, Colorado Bureau of Investigation records show Webster was booked for investigation on counts of first-degree murder after deliberation with intent, first-degree murder extreme indifference, first-degree assault and criminal attempt to commit a class one felony. A source with knowledge of the investigation also confirmed that Webster is the suspect in the shooting.
Westminster police said theyve learned that Webster did not know any of the victims or have relationships with any of them. It appears as if this incident stemmed from a road rage, Westminster Police Department Investigator Cheri Spottke said in a news release Friday.
I did not partake in the service as the penalties were much too severe. Drank a $hit ton of beer though.

The paranoia that pot smoking produces
Hes claiming mental health issues
The assertion was the potheads don’t kill people ever
I read that hes originally from New Jersey.
Do you think Dwayne Esper distributed freaks because he was worried about birth defects and how the carny life can lead them to kill?
If you’re looking to attribute this as drug related why not look at his ‘new’ prescribed drug first. Of course if you prefer to attribute it to an illegal drug the first one you should look at would be methadrine, followed by PCP, next crack, then perhaps heroin, lets not forget ketamine and finally cannabis. Of course, if you involve alcohol with any of the preceding it greatly increases the risk of violent behavior. There are also a wide range of illegally obtained prescription drugs that could be included.
Yes, I want to legalize MJ. Since you asked.
Yet oddly enough there is good scientific evidence of a link between teen aged pot smoking and the onset of schizophrenic disorders
I attribute to nothing other than this jerk decid d to kill people
These types of stories are heartbreaking not just for the families of those killed and injured but, to me, also for those close to the young man who committed these acts.
Details I've read so far are that he had no criminal record. So what made this otherwise law-abiding young man snap and commit a crime of exceptional cold-blooded brutality? It's telling that his statement to the cops was that he has mental issues and started a new prescription. I suspect this prescription was not for marijuana but pharmaceuticals.
I think history will judge us harshly on this. Today we look back on the practice of giving people lobotomies as cruel and barbaric. In the same way, we will be looked upon for our practice of feeding primarily young men dangerous psychotropic medications that in time will be determined to have had dubious medical value and all too often horrendous side effects.
Meanwhile, a family is devastated and a confused young man who woke up yesterday morning planning on a routine day will now die in prison.
What, did you think cannabis was a cure for already extremely violent psychos? Think again.
you don't know that...nobody knows because weed has not been tested for routinely...
I suspect weed has played a big role in "mistakes" and "accidents" and as the testing for weed becomes more widespread, we'll know...
oh really now....
to be anti weed is "despicable"...
wow....
I'm not only a poor uneducated lazy POS but also despicable...
wait til they find out I'm against abortion....
