I was thinkin... CINC’s flight path would call for cleared skies all along it for a rolling two-hour-window on either side... you could test some enemy radar/detection keyed on to his flight plan and splash it in a ‘private’ area....

Well, something made them launch it, I don’t think it was an accident, a rogue actor (in that location, a rogue actor would not have the ability to sneak on or off the island unobserved) or a hack. And whatever it was, they aren’t talking.
