The vog from the volcano is probably making a lot of people sick, and those with breathing problems sicker.

Thank you - I was wondering about that. I’ve never been to Hawaii so I didn’t have any mental context.

so... does Hawaii still want to secede from the Union? or have they put that off until after receiving federal cleanup funds?

***So what happens to the homeowners after this?****

I have no idea if ‘flood insurance’ type coverage is available for areas with a known hazard. Interesting question - probably the answer is out there.

Hustled home with a senior neighbor, because of a pending thunderstorm. We wondered how it must feel to live in areas where tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes and other catastrophes are common. Shudder!!!!!

Just curious...which one is inaccurate? The one the world thinks it is, or what it really is?

All that dust into the upper atmosphere

As well as the big volcano in Japan doing the same thing.

Did I say global cooling....?

Yeah, ok.

State of Hawaii: Active volcano, government permits property to be sold and developed in its shadow.

Predictable result.

Other states: Government owns vast swaths of land and permits no private ownership nor development, yet seizes and condemns private property at-will.

Do I care about Hawaiians and their destroyed homes????

Only to the extent that recklessness has caused me to be responsible in-part for the expense thereof with higher taxes and insurance rates.

Would it be crass to make an offer on the new land?

I am praying for the well-being of these people who have lost everything. It is devastating.

But as a warning to all, this is nothing compared to what God has in store for those who do not put their belief in His Son Jesus who died an excruciating death for us all so that we can spend an eternity in heaven. If you haven’t done so, get out your Bible and read the Book of Revelation . . . God explicitly . . . in great detail. . . tells the “end of HIStory”. And it ain’t pretty for satan, his demons, and non-believers.

Same things happens everyday around the world to people who build in flood zones and near any oceans. There is always the possibility of chaos.

And, the dummy scientist think that can do something about ‘climate’ change.

Build on a volcano and this just might happen. It’s just like building on a fault line.

I won’t shrink from saying this; God’s judgement often comes in measured, but definite ways. Hawaii just passed their “conversion therapy” ban.

“They could throw Robert De Niro into the Volcano”

You really want to tinker with causing a supervolcano that will kill all life on Earth???
