Reminds me Action For Children’s Television nannystaters who demanded that Tom and Jerry be friends and promote pro-social values. Yogi’s Ark confronted evil capitalist polluters.

I heard it said that mothers later acknowledged that the stories were boring and repetitive but at least they weren’t offensive.

Modern cartoons are simply awful. The animation stinks and stories are boring and no fun at all = preachy, teachy, "everybody get along, play nice and save the planet". Utter refuse.

Give me good old rock um, sock um, uncensored, exciting, non PC Tom and Jerry, Warner Brothers and Fred Flinstone cartoons (and don't forget the Three Stooges and Abott and Costello) any day of the week.

I actually feel sorry for this whole generation of children. They have missed out on and been deprived of so much fun, joy, excitement (Johnny Quest) and adventure.
