Watch the race. No horse was boxed in. Poor loser.

You should watch the race.

The first horse Restoring Hope interfered with was Noble Indy. He didn't box Noble Indy in. He carried him wide enough that his jockey had to abandon his pre-race plan to contest for the early lead. The second horse Restoring Hope interfered with was Bravaso. This was on the turn entering the backstretch. Bravaso was running in the two path (i.e. just outside of Justify). Restoring Hope came over from his ridiculously wide position and crowded Bravaso into the one path. On the NBC replay, if you watch closely, you can see Florent Geroux (Restoring Hope's jockey) jerk Restoring Hope's head to the left to block Bravaso.

That’s how jockeys “jockey” for position to maximize their own outcome. Forcing any horse out of its plan is what jockeys do to increase their own outcome. Didn’t matter for justify because he went wire to wire.

The complaining jockeys just got out-jockeyed. No one claimed a foul, so it was all the rough and tumble of jockeying.
