I have been searching for a particular drop which I am having trouble relocating. In it the concept conveyed is that Adm R took the recording made of the plane during the meeting on the tarmac and misfiled it so that it could be reported as no recording existed. Perhaps someone else can supply that - but yes, Q does seem to indicate, I recall, more than once, that a recording was made and preserved of the communications on board that plane.
please do a search on Dmitri Noonan and try to figure out the truth. This story has been all over the map and not from reliable sources.
