As you read on Bourdain was thought to be of so high a profile in not only dem circles but in most all circles crossing the Rubicon of politics that if he started becoming a Trump supporter it would destroy the black vote for the dems and who knows what else.
They could never afford both a Bourdain and a Conye West defecting. If Musk comes out for Trump it won't be pretty for the dems either.
They wanted Bourdain dead because he was going to rat out somebody, IMO.
