Sudden shortage of sun block hits Malibu

Malibu Surfside News — Numerous beach shops and kiosks are reporting that they’ve been cleaned out of every single Sun Block product in inventory by a size challenged person of indeterminate gender.

"I’m clean out of everything from SPH 5 to SPF 100, and the person had a wheelbarrow already overflowing with other sun blockers," said Sun Tans R Us entrepreneur Tandy Brown. "I swear, that person was HUGE, I’ve never seen so much acreage needing protection! Frantic. Wanted to know where the next shop was! I don’t know how I can restock for my regulars.”

Next door, the manager of Sun Block Shed was catatonic and was unable to make a statement amid a mass of empty cardboard cartons of various brands of UV protection products. The scene repeated itself at every sunblock dispenser this reporter visited up and down Malibu Beach.
