Hollywoods left-leaning politics has made the industry a bête noire among conservatives for decades. But Netflix has made some recent moves that have especially rankled Republicans.
In March, the streamer named Susan Rice former national security adviser to President Obama, and a conservative target in the Bengazi scandal to its board of directors. Last month, Netflix officially announced an exclusive multiyear deal with the Obamas Higher Ground Productions for original programming. And last week, it premiered The Break with Michelle Wolf a late-night-style show from the comedian who delivered a blistering takedown of the Trump administration and other conservative politicos at the White House Correspondents Association dinner.

Payoff to Obama for Net Neutrality and we aren’t supposed to notice.
Nutflix jumped the shart years ago when they stopped letting the public rate movies since Hollywood Reds (Commie pinkos) were getting 1 star ratings. Not that it didn’t happen to people from the other side of the political aisle as well, but it was horrific that conservatives might do such a thing to the Hollywood elite liberals.
These businesses roll the virtue signaling dice—and then get shocked when they keep losing their bankroll...can’t fix stupid.

Not all of Hollywood is left-leaning, but today there is a blacklist that the press, academia, and historians don’t give two ishts about.
We enjoyed it for years, but as the kids get older, I can’t justify having that filth in the house.
Lots of good shows on there but enough immoral garbage to not make it worth it.
I have already cancelled my Netflix subscription. They wouldn’t do the cancellation immediately as I had just paid for the next month...however, come June 21st, that had better be “it”.
Disgusting what is being presented now...and you should have seen “Mute”. What a horrible dystopian view of the so-called future. Adding the Obama regime to all of this is just too ugly for words.
Netflix shows and movies are trash.
Amazon Prime Originals trump Netflix Originals any day of the week.
Obama ties is a death sentence.

Netflix has learned what I watch and generally serves up only British shows for me. I do see and skip the few American shows - leftist garbage - it tries to recommend. Jane Fonda in a series? Never!
REALITY CHECK A Netflix exec recently said their target is the release of 80 original films this year, which range from sub-indie low-budget pictures to $100 million blockbusters. Netflix's efforts to produce new content, secure the rights for additional content, and diversify through 190 countries has resulted in the company racking up billions in long-term debt: $21.9 billion as of September 2017, up from $16.8 billion from the same time the previous year, although only $6.5 billion of this is long-term debt; the remaining are long-term obligations.
TO COMMENT OR CANCEL-—Netflix/Customer service——1 (866) 579-7172
The multi-year Obama/Netflix agreement, in the works since at least March, calls on the Obamas to produce a diverse mix of content, including the potential for scripted series, unscripted series, docuseries, documentaries and features, which will be broadcast in 190 countries, according to a statement from the streaming service, which has 125 million subscribers around the globe. Netflix received hundreds of résumés and story ideas after announcing the partnership, the source said.
Netflix says the couple formed Higher Ground Productions LLC to broker the deal. A firm with that name was incorporated in Delaware in April, public records show.
The contract comes a year after the Obamas inked a joint book deal with Penguin Random House valued in excess of $65 million. The first of the deals planned books, Michelle Obamas memoir, Becoming, is due out in November.
Since leaving office, Barack Obama has addressed groups across the country, speaking about grassroots organizing and the problems of the poor.
People who retain Obama for talks pay a steep price. After a speech at a health care conference sponsored by Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald in September, Obama reportedly took home $400,000.
In addition to raking in millions on these ventures, the former first couple has been involved in fundraising for the Obama (cough) Foundation, which is developing a $500 million presidential center and library in Chicago.
The Obama (cough) Foundation took in more than $13 million in 2016, an exponential increase from just under $2 million the previous year, federal filings show.
I hope Netflix crashes and burns for their crony capitalism deal with the Obama's as much as I hope Fakebook crashes because Mark Suckerberg is a complete douchebag fascist asshole.
I canceled Netflix a few days ago and went with Amazon Prime. I should have done it as soon as Amazon Prime started up. I know a few people that have left Netflix because of the liberal agenda.
Now, lets take advantage of the free shipping. I will actually come out a lot better financially.

We dropped Netflix two years go. Never regretted it, and don’t miss it.
I wish there was a “Like” button. I would use it on a lot of the posts I read.
Amazon also has a liberal agenda (WP, etc) so no real change in supporting leftist causes there. With the recent prime price increase, this year will be my last year on Prime most likely. I’ve found Walmart.com has been cheaper anyway.
Seems to me one of the Obama’s daughters had an internship with The Weinstein Company...
hmmm.
Thats all well and good, but when you cancel the service, do you actually speak to a real live person, so you can tell them where they can shove their programming? 😁
