It would have really been much classier with the Webley-Fosbery .455 automatic revolver.
"A" Webley-Fosbery was used to kill Sam Spade's partner. (The script writer got the 6-round .455 confused with the 8-round .38. Too lazy to check that the book got it right.)

Ultimately, we don’t know. However, I think people act in one of two basic ways when they are subjected to sexual abuse. The less decent ones join the crowd and become abusers themselves. The more decent ones, who cannot overcome their trauma, will internalize it and follow the pathway of homosexuality.
