The government has the technology to see ten stories deep into the ground. Again doubtful. And if possible, I highly doubt see is the appropriate word. Detect certain thing might be a better way of putting it. Sense anomalies? Probably. Say what those anomalies are for certain? Not by a long shot. Such a procedure is slow and pains taking. It requires a lot of time and many measurements. Lots of data points.

The main source was a colleague's work friend who was in a position to know. It sounded like--40+ years ago that they did somewhat need to know what they were looking for. It is plausible their detection of deep stuff has improved in resolution.
One conjecture might be changes in cosmic rays??? or some other natural radiation being altered by particular sorts of cavities?
On the other hand . . . IF there is fallen angel tech involving other dimensions--who knows what might be possible with such strategies?
