Rod Blagojevich (’Blago’ to his pals in Chicago) is the former governor of the People’s Republic of Illinois, aka Land of Jailbird Governors. He was prosecuted for trying to sell Obama’s U.S. Senate seat vacated when he won the presidential election in 2008.

If he does pardon Blogoyavich (sp?), that would be huge. He ticked off the Obamanations by wanting a big fat bribe to appoint their candidate to Obama’s senate seat. I wonder if old Ron is giving up any info on any of the Illinois mobsters.
