I remember hearing Rush in 1989 and listening enthusiastically over the ensuing two decades.

But there are possibly some dark points about Rush. One, he’s tended to push establishment presidential candidates like Romney during primaries.

Another is the way he used to go out of his way to assure his listeners that there’s no such thing as conspiracies, always mentioning by name the Bilderbergs, CFR, and the Trilateral Commission. One last thing I remember about what Rush used to say. Like WC Fields, he specifically stated a dislike for children. At first there seems to be nothing wrong with either of these things, but in the current context of satanic conspirators doing horrible things to children since time immemorial, combined with the fact that Rush gets his millions directly from the establishment (if not from the deep state itself) it just doesn’t smell right.

Back in 2016, just as Donald Trump was closing in on the numbers needed to cinch the Republican Presidential nomination, Rush suddenly found it necessary to tell us all what excellent candidates each of the other contenders were. Even Marco Rubio.

Quote: "Rubio isn't a moderate centrist. He's a legitimate, full-throated conservative." [ link ]

Rush didn't exactly pull Trump back from the finish line, but he did what he could to make sure every other candidate had one more chance to surge to the front and get over that line ahead of Trump.

We all knew that Rubio was one of the Gang of Eight that tried to sell out our country with the treacherous amnesty deal. Rush knew that Rubio was not a "full-throated conservative" and we knew that Rush was lying to us that day.

So, why did Rush put his best interests aside and lie to us that day? Anyone want to bet there is something a little more serious than doctor shopping for pain pills in Rush's dossier?

Your comments might be concerning if I had not heard Rush defend pro life issues consistently over the years. Just because he doesn’t have children doesn’t mean he doesn’t like them. I love children but before I had mine I wasn’t crazy about them. Even now there are some kids I don’t understand and would rather not deal with. My genes I understand even the unlovely parts.
