I believe that to be so, too. I could write an opus laying out the background/beliefs of my step-daughter and husband. I’ll just say for brevity they are NOT US(^2).
My wife was visiting them last week, and a conversation at a winery rolled over to politics with her daughter. The husband quickly got up and stormed off to sit in the car until ready to leave. My wife asked if she had made him mad. “Oh, don’t worry about it. He’s been doing that a lot lately.” :) x5
