Some harsh words about Trey Gowdy.
“Think about it. He was in charge of Benghazi, he was in charge of various committees and investigations. But what did he do? Nothing. He’s never done anything!" he said while speaking to Tom Shillue on his eponymous show on Fox Radio....
“No indictments, no charges, no revelations, no — nothing has ever happened except he gets to have some terrific moments as I think he did with Hillary Clinton. Where after 11 hours he just let her talk endlessly and never laid a glove on her. It was an amazing performance," he added, referring to Clinton's testimony before the committee in October 2015.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I agree with his assessment, but is there another Republican we haven’t heard about that has accomplished something Gowdy hasn’t?? Who?
You know, all those years he was a SUB-committee chair under Boehner, I cut him some slack. But then he became a full committee chair and I said, now let’s see.
He has continued to be a disappointment while others have done much more.
Using power in Congress is a tough art. The Congress has abdicated its power in the last 70 years. Gowdy has been part of that problem, not a solution.
He isn’t the only phony.
How many other senators and congressmen held hearings that had near zero results?
A lot of $$$ was wasted on those hearings. But, they gave the membership access to the media.

When I saw that video, I thought Lou Dobbs was THE MAN!!!

This is an role the deep state always make sure gets filled. Gowdy played his part to a tee and basic b*tch conservatives fell for it (like they always do) hook, line and sinker.
Gowdy was a prosecutor in his previous life. Even had one of his cases shown on ID Discovery on TV.

Lou is angry because Trey is objective.
I always liked him, but in the final analysis he is all mouth and no substance. Major disappointment.
Lou calls it like he sees it! He’s a true American patriot!
Congress has to show some teeth and it doesn't have to always rely on special prosecutors.
He is a good questioner, that’s for sure.
But, but, Lou, he speaks so eloquently!!!

Could be. But more likely IMHO is that Lou feigns anger — for the most part — because it makes for good TV.
TRUE!! All Gowdy cares about is his new hairstyles!
All talk, no action? Starting to look that way.
Also he really has severe mood swings. One time he’ll rail against the FBI and the DoJ, then he’ll thank them for meeting with him while stonewalling.
Something weird is going on with Trey.
