Yep. I agree - I think it was manipulated. But think about this; it was unexpected so there wasn't much with which to react. But suppose people were ready. How much can the sell and short vs. how much good guys can buy? There were certainly some roots behind the 2007/8 market fall, but I think that the powers that be wanted to make a move to get Obambi elected. Globalists are a well-funded group.

Well, I was semi prepared just because I had reviewed the market and couldn’t find a single stock that wasn’t over priced. Went ahead in 2007 and liquidated half of my IRA portfolio, and parked it in treasury.

2 weeks later, I bought some cheap bank stocks, and Ford Motor Company @ 3 bucks a share. Didn’t invest anywhere near the amount I had liquidated. Bought some silver, but mostly just hung on to the liquidity in order to pay off the Home Equity loan.

in reguards to that "crash"....the pub congresscriters months before talked about some terrible event and they would be chased in the streets...or very similar....

I believe it was a planned event....
