Those three EOs released yesterday I believe will have a profound impact for the good in the long term. In one of those EOs is written a requirement that civil service employees must spend 75% of their work time doing government work.

Well, shucks, Andy! Duh!... that’s the obvious response from regular workin’ stiffs. What that rule really targets is all the non-government work that goes on by employees 100% of their time, namely lobbying, grievance committee stuff, business agent noobery, etc.

That rule will go a long way in cleaning up waste down the road.

When I was rented equipment to the state, I found that employees in Manitowoc County were spending their days e-astroturfing for a "large"(actually just one woman) anti-2nd group in Wisconsin called WAVE.

Imagine how bad this kind of thing is at the federal level.
