There are quite clear pictures of Little St. James Island if you use Google Earth and look at the overhead imagery. Available are overheads from different years each with varying degrees of quality. The default image date on my GE has pretty good resolution. I cannot recall NOT seeingat least one boat at the dock on the NW edge of the island in any of the images. TXnMA has done a lot of looking with GE and offered solid speculation as to happenings there.
Gotcha. I guess I’m just saying that with today’s technology and video of everything on the Interwebs, why isn’t there someone flying a drone over every inch of Pedo Island?
I saw a very clear image a few days after Irma taken by the NOAA. It was only a small strip of the island but the dome was missing on the temple. Other than that I couldn’t tell much about the damage to the island. It is odd that are so few clear photos of the island.
