Charlize Theron has been set to play Megyn Kelly in Annapurna Pictures’ untitled movie that will focus on the women of Fox News Channel who worked there during the tenure of Roger Ailes, the chairman and network architect who resigned in 2016 amid a sexual and workplace harassment scandal. Jay Roach is directing the pic written by The Big Short scribe Charles Randolph in a project that has been in the works since before Ailes’ death a year ago. It will feature an ensemble cast with characters portraying Ailes and those at FNC during the scandal, which began when ex-host Gretchen Carlson filed her $20 million sexual harassment lawsuit against Ailes.

With Theron's harsh political leanings I imagine she took this project as an opportunity to propagate her staunch leftwing politics.
My guess is that this will be a leftwing feminist movie that will portray FOXNews in a most graphically vulgar manner and it will use the late Roger Ailes as their prop for the Conservative White male who ran FOX, watch FOXNews, and voted for Trump.
Bank on it.
People will have to realize this will be a complete work of....FICTION.....
A. Even $25 million would be ten times more than “Truth.” Annapurna isn only a vanity project. Their biggest hit by a factor of ten was “Detroit” which didn’t get near $25 (and lost a TON of money.) Theron has done a pile of similar vanity projects which didn’t raise close to ONE million dollars.
This would need Spielberg directing it and a slew of Oscar nominations to make $25M.
...Unless, you mean $25K, and are using “M” to mean “Mill.”
So this film is her parting shot at American Society.
But will she return for her Oscar?

At least Carlson did it right and the legal way by filing a complaint over sexual harassment that occurred in the recent past. That is something that both Charlize and her ex- have come out very much in support. I don’t see the hypocrisy.
Another case of the drapes not matching the carpet...
This is not a movie intended to expose Roger Ailes or to depict Megyn Kelly or Gretchen Carlson or any other women as victims of Ailes or other men at FOX.
This movie is about the left going after FOX, their arch-enemy that stands in the left’s way, refusing to go along with the left’s agenda and the left’s message. It is about branding FOX as being out of the “mainstream” and mean-spirited and about being “faux news”. Megyn Kelly and
Gretchen are just tools for the left, and their real target is FOX.
And who will bother to watch this?
