With Theron's harsh political leanings I imagine she took this project as an opportunity to propagate her staunch leftwing politics.
My guess is that this will be a leftwing feminist movie that will portray FOXNews in a most graphically vulgar manner and it will use the late Roger Ailes as their prop for the Conservative White male who ran FOX, watch FOXNews, and voted for Trump.

With Jay Roach directing and with a screenplay by Charles Randolph I don’t doubt it, although it is going to be tricky to disentangle the views of the women from their boss. The movie is a few years away in any case, the script hasn’t been written so a lot can change with so topical a subject matter.
