According to Mark Levin, a Constitutional lawyer and scholar, the “high crimes and misdemeanors” are “Constitutional crimes,” and have nothing to do with the criminal justice definition of crimes.
They are a different animal.
The concept came down from English Law and was debated thoroughly by the framers.

I would like to see Levin be on the Trump Team in some capacity. It took him long enough to germinate, but I feel he’s pretty much on board. That guy knows his stuff and can aticulate his position like nobody’s business. (OK...incoming .308 rounds in 1, 2, 3...)
