No matter what these folks “GUESSED” about what Trump would do down the road, they didn’t have to guess at all what Hillary would do.
Now that’s the real kicker for me.
Look at Trump’s promises.
Look at Clinton’s promises.
These fools actually wanted to take a chance on Clinton’s promises. Wow!
Conservatism would have been big business if Hillary would have won. Rush and talk radio would have gotten record listenership. CPAC would have gotten huge crowds. Groups like Club for Growth, Red State and the GOP consultants would have gotten record donations.
That's why there's a Never Trump movement. They make money by being in permanent opposition to liberalism rather than taking charge and dismantling it. The grassroots saw this in 2010, 2012, and 2014 when we elected Republicans to take back Congress and they still didn't do jack, and that begetted Trump.
There were reasons to be dubious of Trump, given his meandering political background.
His actions in office have erased those doubts (mostly. I’d still like to talk to him on a couple of issues.)
Unlike a lot of posters on this thread, people like Beck have enough openness and flexibility to look at the record and see the the president has kept the promises, despite his (and others’) initial skepticism.
Because it’s not about Trump, and it’s not about Beck. it’s about America and our Constitution. And President Trump’s record on that score has been good so far.
