Perhaps they're relying on the interpretation in the Dred Scott case, which held that a black person has no legal rights. The "reasoning" in that case could be applied to Chinese easily enough.

But the article actually states that the Constitution clearly states so.
There is nothing about that in the Constitution.
And the Dred Scott is mentioned separately, but not as if it quoted the Constitution where it says no negroes or Chinese...or FTM that only white people are allowed.
