When Flynn was still in the Admin. there was a raid - Yemen or Qatar I think, a member of the team was killed, because someone had leaked info to the perps-could have been Awan’s group.
Anyway the raid was successful getting the info. Supposedly that had all the money angles, sex skullduggery, as well as terrorist stuff - Flynn got it all.
It was so sad.... our servicemen and CINC knew it could be one-way trip, and the enemy acted like they were ‘waiting for them’. I saw how angry CINC was, knew there’d be extreme retribution.
The Awans were also around when Benghazi occurred. I have always wondered if the tip off about Ambassador Stevens, came from them as well.
