Plugged in. Seems to be related to Safari, trying to download a bunch of little files of unknown content. Running Avast virus scan now.

Mine was also plugged in.

Bad battery still slowed it way down.

We've used all the name brands free and costly. All sooner or later caused trouble.

VIPRE has been the absolute best by far. Good tech supt, too. They use common methods plus their own proprietary strategies.

My Safari completely crashed a few weeks ago. Spent beaucoup hours with Apple Care - still limping a little bit.
