Donald Trump Jr. is in the process of divorcing his wife, Vanessa Trump, and reportedly has a new girlfriend. According to Page Six, the 40-year-old Trump has been dating Fox News 'The Five' host Kimberly Guilfoyle, 49, for the past few weeks.
The new couple is “having a great time,” a source told Page Six. “While he wants to respect the privacy of his family, he is getting divorced, and he enjoys Kimberly’s company,” the source added.
However, people have been pointing out on social media that Guilfoyle bears a strong resemblance to Trump’s stepmother, Melania, 48.
Kimberly, 49, is just a year older than Melania, and they both got their starts as models before becoming public political figures.
This isn’t completely random, given that people tend to be drawn to what’s familiar, licensed clinical psychologist Ramani Durvasula tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “That’s what Freud was getting at when he said, ‘You always marry your mom,’” she explains. “You only know what you know and you choose that which is familiar.” .
In a subconscious attempt to be competitive with their same-sex parent, some people may choose a partner similar to their parents’ opposite sex partner, Gail Saltz, MD, a psychiatrist and host of “The Power of Different” podcast, tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “It’s sort of a ‘see, I can have her too!'” Saltz says.
However, this is a pattern that’s usually subconscious, and people often need friends or peers to point it out to them. “I always say to people in the early months of a relationship, pay attention to how they make you feel,” Durvasula says. “If you feel rejected like you did with your mom, you want to be deeply aware of that and try to see what you’re working through — especially if this is a pattern.”

Not psychic, but been around long enough to know that divorcing one’s wife who is the mother of one’s child to marry someone thought to be more of a hottie, seldom ends well.
And his Dad can’t afford the bad political vibes, either. Just saying.
I can see a resemblance around the eyes but how much of that is makeup and how much is natural.
Only those two know for sure. Then again; maybe not. They may not have seen each other without makeup.

So at this point it doesn't really matter what he does. He's just being human and attracted to and pursuing someone who he finds attractive and is really fun to mentally joust and talk with and well other things--lol. (I'm a woman whose both as well and see the impact this has on men--especially as they age and find someone fun, intelligent, beautiful, and I add independent--all of which is how I see Kimberly.) So I see her a bit as someone he is dating and enjoying. Not setting out to marry (at least for now.)
Dad has bad political vibes all around. But he still turns out first from the huge wave with his surf board properly situated. ;D Just sayin.' (as a side note I agree it best to work out with the wife/mother rather than replace with something 'hotter. As we all know even the hottest are human after awhile. But I think Mama's out on this one.)

In all my years here, I have NOT ONCE seen a woman wax poetic on how wonderful some XXXXX kind of man is, from other countries (Asian and Slavic are the preferences in women) - ipso facto American men stink (and yes, often there are simultaneous complaints about how bad we Americans are, right in front of us).
But I see this all the time from men, along with presuming they’re in safe company (males) where no one will be insulted.
Any few times women say anything about preferences on FR, it’s very specific like black hair, blonde, brown eyes, etc - not a whole sweeping culture/ethnicity! And while complaining about others as inferior.
Did they leave out how Kimberly was a lawyer? And her time as a lefty marrying Gavin Newsom?

She has had marriage problems due to being too focused on career. Divorced twice in 18 years.
She is but she is a conservative so I cut her some slack. She is very conservative despite being Puerto Rican and trashy. She had had various personal problems leading to divorces and break ups.
