I always thought Socrates was an idiot for going along with drinking the hemlock. By the way, his treatise on Love is one of my absolute favorites. Man split into two parts and healed, spending life searching for their other half and, when they find it, rushing together and clinging as if to become one again. It’s one of my favorite images.

Excuse me you two but I would like to know where you got this information? You see Socrates wasn’t into writing. I would be interested in doing some new research on this subject, it has been a long long time since my days of taking college courses.
