Well, both were clearly compromised from the beginning. So they never should have been appointed - they could at least have an approval of the appointment.
The whole darn justice department and FBI was crooked during Obama’s Admin. and there ought to have been some way to deal with that, during zero’s tenure, instead of having to wait till after.
I’m not smart enough to know how that could be done, but obviously there will be times when there are crooks - in fact more times than not for last several decades.

Congress has sold out the country, bigtime. it is an utterly failed institution, as is the Federal Court system.
The only reason there wasn’t anything done to deal with the corruption of O’s administration is that there are to many corrupt politicians period. That means those with a ‘D” and an “R” behind their names.
Once a politician is forced to comply, he has sold a bit of his soul. Compliance then gets easier and easier. Done often enough and that politician becomes an empty shell, selling out just to retain his position.
