:^)..your nice.

My college physics Professor took me aside and gave me a talk after our first quiz and I made a 0..my husband the semester before Aced the class. He told me I reminded him of his daughter going through nurses training. Physics will mean nothing to me after college and if I showed up for every class and tried, he would pass me. I didn't miss a class. I Aced Shakespeare and European Literature that same semester.(Magnus effect?)

:: Physics will mean nothing to me after college ::

Great guy, there. |:-\
He should have added, “Except those times when you are controlling 2000 pounds of steel moving at 70 miles per hour in a public space. Then, Physics will mean a great deal to you.”

You and I are complete opposites. I would crave the physics and shun the Shakespeare and Euro Lit to the greatest extent possible.

I put off taking a science class until my senior year. I took the professor aside the first day and told him I was graduating with a business degree and would never need geology in my life. Unfortunately that guy was not as nice as your professor. I had to take a test from he!!, a long table lined with rocks. I had to name each rock, and write the composition of each one. The earthquakes and volcanoes I did a little better on, but I passed!

I love rocks. But my description of them is pretty pink or purple, shiny, round...you get the message. Soon as I took that test all was forgotten. And I never needed that knowledge to produce financial statements, stock investments, or do taxes.

P.s. to my previous reply, funny thing, one of my daughters got her degree in science, and is now a science teacher.
