(CNN)Tuesday brought us two Kanyes.

The first was a man who opened up about his mental health, his family, and his art in a nearly-two hour interview with radio host Charlamagne Tha God. The second was a Kanye who appeared at the TMZ headquarters where he had this to say: "When you hear about slavery for 400 years ... For 400 years? That sounds like a choice." The rapper went on to add: "You were there for 400 years and it's all of y'all. It's like we're mentally imprisoned."

Yeah, in other words the slaves should have rose up.

We all have choices to make. Now why didn’t the slaves rise up ? Because they had something to lose, they had hope that it was going to be over. And slavery, while a horrible dark part of our past, was far different than we are told.

Many slaves willingly entered into the program to get here from their native lands. Most were tricked, yes but you can’t stuff a ship full of strong, healthy native warriors with unwilling participants.

Actually he ranted at TMZ about being too medicated. He got hooked on Opiods after he go liposuction. So he had his meltdown last November on Opiods.

I’m glad that Kanye is speaking up about Trump; but he’s still just a bit crazy.

These people are ridiculous.

I think he was saying that it IS a choice today.
He’s off the plantation. He sees people so many still on it.
Those are slaves he is talking about.

While American Slavery was the extension of commerce trade of the British - a holdover from the Colonies, African slavery goes further back than the United States has been a country. Slaves, mainly from Africa were the result of Islamic invaders into Africa, starting with Egypt. From the African tribal wars, the winning tribes sold their captured into slavery. This is the untold story of African slavery which continues to this very day. In the KSA the word for black is the same for slave - abed .

Tommy Sotomayor made a similar comment about slavery a while ago. His point was that you could imprison someone but you could not force them to obey. He said slaves had a choice to die or obey, and blacks chose to live as slaves.

there was only 250 years of slavery, so if you’re saying 400 that means the other 150 were by choice.

That's how Rush explained it. Kanye was saying, y'all aren't slaves NOW unless you choose to be.

I fell for this false narrative from of all places the Mike Gallagher Show this morning who was also duped by the media lies. Kanye West was talking PRESENT tense, not past tense. There was not 400 years of slavery in the United States - he was taking us to the present time - those still living like things are no better than the days of slavery are doing so by choice and the Left are the current slave masters people don’t have to follow. Taking the entire quote in context makes that clear.

The media is lying - again.

The word you are looking for is dishonest.

Kanye West has drifted from the left-wing plantation, so they are hunting him down to try to destroy him.
