Michelle Wolf's act at the Correspondents dinner was a setup to frame the White House. With any kind of reaction by them, the correspondents would have savaged Trump and the White House staff.
Why do I believe this. Ask yourself just why Kathy Griffen was there (yes the one who did the bloody Trump head thing) and look at Kathy's comments afterwards.
Unfortunately for them and the hopeful correspondents, it Bombed, just as Trump tweeted.
Just when you thought the mainstream media couldn't get any lower
I watched the wide shots in a couple news segments on this. Maybe 1 in 10 of the audience thought she was humorous. The others were cringing.

It is a setup. But it’ll be a setup for the 2019 dinner, and the 2020 dinner. I don’t anticipate many of the WH employees will attend either...most are finished on this fake event.
Trump? I think his team is recording each of these, and they will be blended into a future campaign video. As much as the Democrats are acting like they are lost in the woods and unable to construct a campaign theme for 2018 mid-terms and the 2020 national election....this is one of the reasons...a continual need to ‘go low’. It just doesn’t sell well in the heartland to former Democrats.
The irrefutable class act that is the Trump White House was on full display even as their nemesis, the MSM, shat on their own gala.
It may have been a set up by Trump. Sarah, I want you to go to this, even though youre going to get torched. Itll bring the worst out from the left, and force them to either defend their behavior or distance themselves .
Even some hardcore lefties had a hard time defending this.
They act as if they didn’t after having Stephen Coulbert and others host.
Why not get Jackie Mason?
Oh, he isn’t a moonbat Leftist.
I don’t think any Republicans should go, let it be a strictly democrat-media event which would perfectly illustrate what both are.
I think it was Matt Schlapp (sp?), last night who said, that the dinners are always the same. When there is a Republican president the “comedian” makes fun of Republicans, when there is a Democrat president the comedian makes fun of Republicans.
They will defend it nonetheless.
We are at war with our own government and the Ruling Class. When are the "Normals" going to stand up and act like it.
The press corps is “in” the game and on the opposition team.
The entire press corpse needs to be fitted with orange jumpsuits, IMHO.
Is this the best they can produce? What’s lower than scum? Scum of the Earth? What’s lower than that?
Sarah was and is a class act. I truly gained a lot of respect for her which replaces my previous “no opinion”.
Deep in their blackended hearts the fifth-column leftist media (especially the White House Press Correspondents) are traitors to the United States of America.
‘I dont think any Republicans should go, let it be a strictly democrat-media event which would perfectly illustrate what both are.’
This. A complete Republican boycott would be ideal. Since much of the Stupid Party is actually Uniparty, that likely won’t happen. But next year NOBODY from the WH should attend. After what happened this year there’s no longer any reason to play this stupid game. Avoid this hatefest like the plague and never look back.
Thus my tagline below for the last 18 years .....
“Kathy Griffen Tweet: Comics by their nature are anti-establishment. They are charged with the often unenviable task of going after people in power.”
Except for liberals in power.
Sincere question. When somebody goes that far over the line, what is classy about being a willing punching bag/doormat? Maybe I’ve got it all wrong, but I see a great advantage in publicly stating—by actions not words—I’m not here to be smeared and slandered; adios loser.
Right! I am sure the jokes will be just as stupid and insipid all with the punch line being Republicans, but at least no one will have to sit there and be insulted in front of an audience.
I was surprised that Sean Spicer was there. Why? You would think he had more than enough of the “press.”
