I've wondered about possible targets for quite some time.
IMHO, the "choice" site would be:
1) If not a major media center (..and why kill your best fans?), most likely a fairly large population center within a reasonable travel distance of a Big Time media hub;
2) Someplace that, if not already branded as home to Conservatives, rednecks or other assorted untermenschen could be described as such in a couple of news cycles;
3) As a bonus, if some organization or business that is on Lib hate lists (Chick-Fil-A or any oil or coal company for example?) is headquartered in an area that could also fit into the previous category....

...on second thought, I don't really believe any of those individuals would give a **** where their bomb went off, so long as they were out of harm's way and they'd already confirmed the funds transfer.
My uneducated bet would be ISRAEL. Period. And any other blooming friendly ally in the region. These Special People wanted wealth and global power to bring the worker bees to heel and to produce their material desires.

They can be moderately clever toward their Machiavellian, ruthless, tyrannical, genocidal goals.
Clancy dealt with this when a jet liner “kamikazi’d” a joint session of congress.
The new guy in charge used his bully pulpit to repopulate congress with members of like thought, his new cabinet was his ideological twin, approved by the decimated Senate and...funny, he populated SCOTUS last (mostly because he needed a Senate for A&C)
