OK, what TV commercials really bug you? Make you want to scream at the TV every time you see them? Leaving aside the stupid dads and always white burglars, here's a couple that I see all the time lately...
The psa with mom having the girl run up and down stairs looking for her dollar.
And one mom pulls fuse box switch to get the boys to go outside to play.
And match.com with Courtney.
I like and have a My Pillow— but enough of the ads!!! Same with the ‘weight loss” pile of commercials. Especially with Marie Osmond.
And yes - we must have racially even families.
Another ad- the actor and your money change to gold/ silver.
I do like the kid who had an accident with the car and faces the family. Is told 4 weeks/no car!
I lost fifty peyunds on nutri-system.
Dang, I’m going to have the “Go See Cal” lyrics in my head the rest of the day.
Not to mention, NO ONE is denied college entrance. Maybe not to all colleges, but there is no one that cannot get into a college.
The “Holy Nut Butter” fool
Any and all commercials about interracial couples (usually a black man with a white wife) bouncing around on a mattress where neither of them have wedding rings on.
And every damned commercial that has at the very least, one black guy or black woman in it, no matter how stupid it looks: 4 kids sitting a a breakfast table, one of whom is black. Four guys sitting watching a football game; one of whom is black.
And any and all commercials where the black ladies hair look like it exploded.
And top it off with almost every single man in all commercials who has a three-day beard. Men are not allowed to shave anymore no matter what they’re advertising.
And all commercials with the male-put-down who show a fat guy with red hair (gotta’ have red hair) who is dumber than a rock, usually married to a very good looking woman.
“Flo” — that’s what I was going to say but you said it so I don’t have to. Skank. Selling insurance in a store with boxed insurances is moronic.
Some medical ad where the people have COPD, and they are playing “tomorrow” from that Annie movie with a really sad melody.
Makes me feel guilty for not calling my parents more often!
Oy! The “Brad” girl is like every bad theater audition! Better they do show tunes!
Almost all of them irritate me and for all the reasons mentioned plus a few more.
The Snickers commercial where the doctor left his phone in the patient. During a Gonzaga game, it played 26 times...how do I know? It was reported in the game coverage.
Virtue signaling! It's not just for liberals!
The holiday ads they did are still pretty funny, though.
I had no idea they were still making Flo ads.
All the late night phone sex ads.
Need I also mention “Is this a lug wrench?”
Got to disagree; I love the two clueless teenagers.
