Bay State schools will be able to try a new curriculum with LGBTQ-themed history, English and health this fall that proponents say is an effort to help all students see themselves reflected in classrooms.
The curriculum, developed by a team of teachers with Massachusetts Safe Schools Program for LGBTQ Students and the Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth, will be released this summer. It will feature lessons on the 1969 Stonewall Riots and writings by gay and lesbian authors such as Langston Hughes and Willa Cather. It will also feature lessons like how Nick Carraways love for Jay Gatsby may have influenced themes in The Great Gatsby.

Celebrate the perversion!
Would it surprise anyone if they try to adopt Homosexual History Month?
The Great Gatsby... the only book I was required to read in school that left me wondering why it was required reading.
You have good taste!
LGBTQ
What’s the Q stand for? Queer?
Yes. And why are they discriminated by the LGB and Ts who told the Qs to go to the back of the line?
Well ithn’t that just tho thpethial.
Do not forget to always include the letter P for pedophile
Perhaps they can include a few photos of rectal syphilis and rectal cancer in these new “health” textbooks.Of course the caption for such photos would be “Trump’s fault”...or “Christianity’s fault”.
“Homosexual History Month”
October in the US
While they are at it, why not claim Sappho and Sophocles? According to that well-known expert on Greek philosophy, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Socrates was a "Greek homo." Unfortunately we have nothing written by Socrates.
Massachusetts is where Horace Mann created his idea of public schools.
This is where his big idea ends up!!!
So sad!
Can’t see a problem with this. They’re government schools and they will ALWAYS answer to the government. Until parents figure that out, they’ll continue to be confused and frustrated. The much better option, of course, is to NOT use the public schools, even if it means downsizing your lifestyles a bit (i.e., the kids will understand).
“”Teachers can do a lot to help normalize LGBTQ.” i.e. brainwashing.”
I was going to suggest teaching them to say “Would you like fries with that.” but mfrs. have learned they don’t want people like this interacting with the normal public. So maybe they should take classes in mopping floors and cleaning toilets and hope that no one invents a robot to do THOSE jobs.
Yes, teach kids about all this weird stuff; but don’t - DO NOT - teach them about the constitution or Bill of Rights or how we became a free nation or what previous generations had to do to maintain and pass on that legacy of freedom to hand it on, intact, to Peter and Patty Privileged.
The education establishment is very odd these days.
Mark 9:42 ESV Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.
I am tired of the LGBTQIDIOTs. School curricula should provide knowledge and skills, not a chance to see yourself “reflected”. Kinds with mental illness can get a mirror if they want to see themselves reflected.
