To some extent, but we never stayed apart long enough (think 10,000 generations) enough to separate into different species. The people who have stayed away from the rest of humanity the longest - the Jarawas of the Andaman islands who have been separated from the rest of humanity for 40K years are still noticeably human looking.

Perhaps if we separated over a lot more generations we would have become different sub-species, but we didn't.
