When I studied this period, I fell in love with Giorgione and Giovanni Bellini. Giorgione did murals on the outside of buildings that have degenerated and disappeared over the centuries. His output was low because he died of the plague at 33. Giorgione's student, Titian, completed some of the paintings Giorgione left unfinished. Giovanni Bellini was not as famous as his brother Gentile during their lives, but became more famous in retrospect. Note the emotion in many of the faces.
I would have fitted in Tintoretto if the music had been a bit longer. It wasn't a loss since I wasn't fond of his work, and learning that he used dead bodies as models cinched it. He was also known for fast and furious. One quote was that he could paint more in two days than the writer could in two years. Tintoretto's father had tried to get him into Titian's studio, but the boy's style indicated he'd be hard put to work in Titian's style.
