Ha! We have a feral cat we have been feeding, petting & she has a condo filled with quilts in the carport. Very tame and loving. Would NEVER come in until this winter when it was brutally cold. At first we had to bring her in against her will. THEN she discovered our bed. Then came kisses on the head, lots of purring & since Christmas break she is a lovebug .
It took 5 years, but she sleeps thru the night on the bed & has her own food bowl. She can’t get enough love & lounges on my chest while I read. It’s a miracle!

Our feral neighborhood cat is truly feral - will not let anyone touch her and will not enter anyone's home. I feel sorry for her cuz she can't beg for food in front of a refrigerator like regular cats - rubbing against anyone's leg - thereby she gets no human physical contact.
She is a dark grey tuxedo cat. :(
