Ladders are so very dangerous.... and so very helpful!
I very often remind Darlin’ when getting ready to go up one of those, “NO STUPID LADDER TRICKS!!”
Sorry your ladder played a terrible trick on you.
Qx’s Step-dad would not tolerate anyone using a ladder on his property unless the ladder was very well secured to the building it was leaning against—i.e. with strong wire, or some such. It had to be immovable before anyone was allowed to climb it.
