That’s so funny!

Coincidentally, these mice started to show up right after my beloved cat, Freddie, died of old age in January.

When I saw the first signs of the mice, I thought my dog would handle them. NOT!

My 9yo black lab could care less if they run across her nose! She doesn’t move a muscle!

I guess it’s time for another kitten.

I only tolerated cats before because my daughters - who have since moved out - thought they were cute. But who ended up feeding them and cleaning the litter box - me! (I’m a single dad.). My daughters well know my displeasure about cats (except Freddie, who I grew to love).

I can hear the laughing now from them when I decide to get a cat. But I see now that it’s worth it!

LOL. Cats are from another planet. Or seem to think so.

I am so deeply sorry about Freddie. I’m glad he had someone who loved him. A kitten sounds wonderful. And maybe, if the world turns right that day, it will discover mice for playmates instead of snacks. Then they could spend all day chasing each other around the house! And then what stories you’d have for your daughters!
