But that sounds so cruel!
They need a home just like everyone else, right?
Last week, they tried to follow the trash bag outside. But thankfully, I was able to stop them! I couldn’t bear to think of them living all alone outside in the harsh and cruel world!
Our cats cornered a mouse so we caught it and kept it. But the pet store said we couldn’t buy it a friend since different species would fight. So when the cats found ANOTHER one, we exclaimed in joy, “A Friend!” Which is how we learned the difference between deer mice and house mice. So then we had two separate cages for them to look at each other through. And one morning they had conspired and both escaped. I don’t tell husband, but not all the peanuts that I spill get cleaned up. Just in case one of their descendants still lives nearby.
