Fatima, my FRiend. Believe it or not, most of us truly are aware of the need to be circumspect in our language here and that interested eyes see what we write here.
Your motivation to get the word out about the importance of links is a good one, however, most people who do research and are interested in documenting information from that research DO post links.
As we do a free-flow conversation about points brought up on the threads by participants, and by Q directly, it is very often true that a spark occurs from something which was read much earlier, even possibly from another 2000 post thread. That sometimes is not really possible to easily research a link if you are simply trying to post a reaction/formulation to an idea.
Your idea is a good one to gently remind people to post links when they are able to. However, you unfortunately create a self-defeating situation for yourself by demanding links, and acting like a self-appointed Link Monitor. The demands on your part for “LINKS” interrupts the free flow of ideas and actually disturbs the process, IMHO.
You give a valuable contribution on these threads. However, please understand that we only have written words to gauge the intent of the poster. Please consider that sometimes what you post in this regard is so direct it comes across in abrasive ways which I’m certain you do not truly intend.
We are all FRiends here, and all of us are flawed. Please forgive us if we do not post in exactly the way you might wish we would.
