Denmark’s Sea War Museum, which found the submarine, said there was no evidence that it was escaping with Nazi leaders or loot.

I would be interested in how they came to this conclusion. Maybe this statement is a way to discourage potential looters.

Maybe they didn’t find any berths labeled, “Adolf Hitler’s quarters, everybody else ROUSE!”

No Evidence*

All that means is that the Allies, who were reading encrypted German radio traffic, didn’t detect anything unusual about that sub’s sortie.
