I still can’t visualize driving an electric car in Chicago in the winter. Snow traffic tie ups. Bingo your out of power and heat.
What is interesting is Jag w/ their coming E-SUV has a heat pump taking the heat created when you draw juice and using it for heat and air and they are claiming 31% in energy use. Clever. Now would a heat pump work in the cold and wind on the Shoreline where the wind is a howelin’? I don’t know, to be continued. I know Long Johns and 3/4 wool coat didn’t keep me warm in that cold when I was their in winter!
