Anybody remember a .gif of BHO face with text reading that he signed an EO (or something ) in 2012 that allowed gummit domestic propoganda?

I’ve seen it down some rabbit hole 2 days ago. Spent over an hour and a half tring to dig it back up yesterday with no luck.

Anybody remember seeing this out there?

I’ll regroup tomorrow & sniff around.

Imo, if true, explains a lot about the echo chamber.

I do not recall a .gif of that. Could probably find the EO, which IIRC had to do will allowing state department monies to be used for propaganda in the US. The US spends considerable money to propagandize everyplace else.

Fellow travelers. They are all in harmony without much need for leadership other than a message. Mockingbord and JournoList take care of the idea sharing, as if reading a NYT or WaPo or AP article isn't sufficient guidance.

The Comey memos suggest Trump has a scattershot and self-obsessed mindset, brooding about his subordinates, leaks, his campaign and his inaugural crowd size and not appreciating or caring about protocol boundaries that separate the White House and the Justice Department.

Furthermore, the conversations with Comey soon after Trump moved into the White House paint a picture of a new President more concerned with own fortunes than the burden of his new responsibilities.

U.S. Repeals Propaganda Ban, Spreads Government-Made News to Americans - Foreign Policy - July 14, 2013

The restriction of these broadcasts was due to the Smith-Mundt Act ...

The NDAA Legalizes The Use Of Propaganda On The US Public - Business Insider - May 21, 2012

If the NDAA goes into effect in its current form, the State Department and Pentagon can go beyond manipulating mainstream media outlets and directly disseminate campaigns of misinformation to the U.S. public.

I notice about a year separation between those two articles. Perhaps an extended campaign that didn't take the first time around, and was submitted year after year until passing.

Same technique used to propose amending the constitution so naturalized citizens qualify for the presidency.

That was part of the NDAA Act of 2016, IIRC. The stated reason was to allow Voice of America type broadcasts to be heard in Detroit and other locations of Foreigners.

The argument was that if everyone else in the world can hear them, why not inside the USA. They also set up a “ministry of truth” - I forget which Govt. Agency that was assigned to.

Since they have been propagandizing and lyin’ for decades with mockingbird media, can’t really blame that on the law that just passed. It’s the censorship that’s being made legal. Soon we’ll have our very own Bagdad Bob.
