About 20 minutes in, the gal at Deceptionbytes discusses both pix. Is some kind of financial place in China. I listened to it, and I want to say Shanghai, but have been very distracted, and am now realizing I did not retain that factoid. Her discussion of the statue is excellent.

I worked for awhile on some cityscape & building pics, but with no useful results.
I must have missed the statues — unless they were hollow ones...
