I’m certainly going to do my part to make it so.

Paul Ryan was never the real problem (he may have been eventually). Mitch is the problem. He never pushed his memebers, not forces tough votes. He’s not much of a leader. To be fair, his members mostly suck

He’s not gone yet and they’ll just put McCarthy in his place.

Did Ryan resign? All I heard was that he is not running for re-election. Therefore we can still hear from him for a few more months.

McConnell's not going anywhere until at least 2020. He handily defeated Matt Bevin in the GOP primary in 2014, then trounced the Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes in the general election.

He "must go now also!!!"? Good luck with that. McConnell wields considerable power inside the beltway, and he's comfortably ensconced in his Senate seat until 2020.

"Oh! But Ryan's going! Why not McConnell too?"

Sorry, Senate terms are six years, not two like the House (see Article I, section 3, clause 1 of the Constitution).

We’ll see what the Chao family has to say about this (reading “Secret Empires” at the moment, which discusses possible Chinese family influences on McConnell.)

Lyin’ Ryan...

- Refusing to step down early and not help GOP for midterms
- Continues supporting the dirty cop, James Comey
- Indicates he will push amnesty for ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS

Lyin’ Ryan is a traitor to the very end.

But it matters who replaces them.

If that slime McCarthy takes over for Ryan, that is just another shell game with no improvement.

I feel terrible that turtles have been maligned by their comparison to McConnell.

RINO Ryan still has 8 months to continue his obstruction
of Trumps agenda.

Mitch, has done one thing that I will forever be grateful for . . . he held firm on the Supreme Court nomination until President Trump nominated Neal Gorsuch. It remains to be seen whether the long term effect on one Justice can really help the nation. Nonetheless, I was pleasantly surprised at Mitch. I didn’t think he had it in him to stand firm, even once, for an important conservative issue.

Now, he needs to get the other Presidential appointments speeding through.

I do hope the GOP can field a replacement soon. Leaving an anti-semite as the only nominee for that seat is a sure-fire loss in November.

We are going to have to somehow convince Kentuckians, who inexplicably seem to like the guy, that he’s a schmuck. Suggestions??

We need to replace as many of the DC UniParty/Deep State Politicrats as possible in the next three elections.

The GOPe doesn’t give a good rat’s ass about us.

Ryan is not gone yet. He is currently scheduled to keep the job of Speaker through the November elections. Why would the republicans want a lame duck in charge of the House? Does Ryan want a blue wave?

Ryan sucked but McConnell is the bigger problem.

Some of the crap Ryan passed in the House was probably warped a bit by what he knew would happen/not happen in the Senate.

Paul Ryan isn’t gone. He is still the Speaker of the House.

Next year he probably would have been the Minority Leader had he stayed, a voice in the Wilderness.

Ryan will be gone if and when he is replaced while the GOP controls the House. So far there seems to be no action to make that happen.

He is just a placeholder that will allow no action on POTUS Trump’s Agenda going forward this year, which just emboldens the DemoncRats going into the Midterms.
